Eligibility to apply
To become a teacher, you need to meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- SPM and IGCSE and above
- Fluent Mandarin or English speaking
- Certificate of graduation and personal identity card
- Teaching experience or without (we offer free training)
- Teaching experience with children, teenagers, or foreigners is preferred.
- Educational certification in Childhood Education/Psychology, etc., or professional teaching license will be preferred.
- Ability to teach during peak hours (each class lasts 20-25 minutes):
- Malaysia Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm (Weekdays: Monday to Friday) Note: You must choose at least three of the days for online teaching, e.g. Monday to Wednesday.
- Malaysia Time: 9:00am - 8:30pm (Weekend: Saturday to Sunday) Note: This time slot is optional and not mandatory.
- Other lesson time (each lesson lasts 20-25 minutes):
- Malaysia Time: 9:00am - 10:30am (Weekdays: Monday to Friday) Note: This time slot is optional and not mandatory.
- Malaysia Time: 2:00pm - 6:00pm (Weekdays: Monday to Friday) Note: This time slot is optional and not mandatory.
- Desktop or laptop computer
- Operating System: Windows 7 or above, or Mac
- CPU: Intel Core i3 6th generation or above / i5 to i7 4th generation or above / AMD A Series A8 7500 and above / AMD Ryzen
- Memory: at least 4GB RAM (8GB recommended) and at least 100GB of available hard disk space
- Headphones with extended microphone and noise-canceling features
- High Definition (HD) external or internal webcam (at least 720p resolution)
- Wired or wireless internet connection of at least 5 Mbps
- The home needs a quiet, clean, well-lit space with a solid white background
